Class 2A Riding Licence - Procedure

Legal Requirement
Under the Road Traffic Act, you must be in possession of a Class 2B Qualified Licence for at least one year before you can take the Class 2A Qualified Licence.
Enroll For Riding Classes
Similar to obtaining the Class 2B Motorcycle Driving Licence, you can only enroll as a student for the riding classes through one of the 3 Driving Schools as stated below :

Riding Lesson
Upon enrolling into one of the 3 Driving Schools, the driving school will arrange the necessary riding lessons for you to learn riding on both the driving circuit and public roads.
You will have to pass the Riding Assessment Tst conducted by the driving school before you are allowed to take the Practical Riding Test (PRT) for Class 2A.

Pass The Practical Riding Test (PRT)
Upon passing the Riding Theory Test (RTT) and the Riding Assessment Test conducted by the driving school, you can then apply for the Practical Riding Test (PRT). There is no quota on the number of passes for the PRT. You need to be able to ride safely and competently in order to pass the PRT.
Upon passing the PRT, you will then be issued with a Class 2A Qualified Licence which allows you to ride a motorcycle of engine capacity between 201cc and 400cc.
