Is there a limit on the number of times a person can take for the Class 4 Driving Licence?
There is no quota on the number of passes for the Practical Driving Test. Once the driving tester is satisfied that you can drive safely and competently, you will pass the test even if it is your first attempt at the test.
Can a child restrainer be placed in lorries?
As long as there is a seat belt in the front seat of lorries, a child restrainer is necessary.
If a person is on probation for Class 3 can he/she take Class 4 test?
A person can take Class 4 practical test provided his /her demerit points are below 12, he is not disqualified or suspended from driving and must be at least 21 years of age. The system will reject the application if the person has more than 12 demerit points.
Must Class 4 probation licence holders display the probation plate on their vehicles?
No, they do not need to display the probation plate on their vehicles. The probation plate must be displayed for Class 2B & Class 3/3A ONLY.
